| CGC and IGSHPA Training Courses Under the auspices of the Canadian GeoExchange Coalition and the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association, we offer geothermal installers' training courses. These are not manufacturer's promotions. Our past courses have had participants from diverse areas of interest: GSHP installers, HVAC contractors, general contractors, drillers, excavators, loop installers, engineers, architects, developers, manufacturers, distributors, refrigeration experts, dealers, duct installers, designers, individuals working with hydronics, persons in the controls field, plumbers, realtors, homeowners, geologists, trench contractors, sheet metal workers, safety code inspectors, persons involved with environmental issues or sustainable energy, and others interested in being exposed to this technology. Participants, on successful completion of the course, receive a CGC or an IGSHPA Geothermal Installer's certificate, as well as a basic High Density Polyethylene pipe fusion certificate.
