Who are we at Delta Geothermal...? First and foremost, we are passionate about energy exchange heating and cooling. We believe that it is the answer to at least one aspect of the challenges that we face. Based on the completely proven technology of refrigeration, geo-thermal exchange systems really do have the capability to mesh comfort, environmental protection, and long term costs. It is one of the best technologies available in our world. Based on this passion, we have developed liaisons with quality manufacturers, so that we can work with distributors and installers in Western Canada and help facilitate the transition to this technology. There are different types of systems, and while most of them have the capability to operate effectively and functionally, the design factor is absolutely key. Choosing the right system for the application is critical, and then being sure that it is installed correctly is even more of a factor. Essentially, we want to facilitate two things - we want to be part of helping the end customer to be thrilled with their new system, and we want to assist in making things go smoothly for the installer. If both of these things happen, then our long term goal - that of continued growth in the energy exchange field - will inevitably be reached. We are in a position to offer the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association's Installer Training Course (IGSHPA) and Canadian GeoExchange Coalition (CGC) courses. See the Education Link for more information. In addition, over the years, we have been encouraged and therefore have developed a strong consultation aspect to our Energy Exchange business. Furthermore, we have responded to the demand for a book with Canadian climate conditions and standards, that would be available to anyone interested in the Energy Exchange concept. The request was for a complete overview that could be used as a strong reference manual for both installation and design aspects.
